View Full Version : P4 Tiny Fin competition - OVER -
At the end of my P4 Tiny Fin 478 "review" I offer you the chance to win the cooler. Here's the question, and instructions, again:
Where does the name "Pok幦on" come from?
The winner will be chosen at random on March the 18th (that's in 2 weeks time).
So... register here at the forums (if you haven't already) and post below... just a simple smiley post will do, or you could try to be a little more original and post something of some actual interest ;).
Then send an email to competition@techangel.co.uk containing your name, forums nick, and the answer!
Good luck to you all. :D
... or should that be "got em all"?
(how did u know I was planning to buy a p4 1.7g, MSI 645Ultra, Crucial ram)

I've just sent you my answer, mrplow. I think it's the right one... (I hope so...)
I hope I win, I need a new HSF for my new P4 1.8 (like Gator )
Good luck to every one...
Damn these people who can afford the 1.8 chips.. :)

wel... I really can't afford it right now, but in a couple of weeks... who knows...:D
It's a "project" I have in mind. Building a machine for me :o , not just for a friend.
I have to say I'm writing right now with my main (and unique) machine. It's a PIII 533, 192mb PC-133, 50Gb (40+10) and Abit Siluro GeForce2 MX400... Nothing really impressive, but it does the work right.
Any idea wot mobo you're going for?
(wondering if everyone is going for this MSI645Ultra) :D
Main thing about it is that it isn't a VIA chipset, and hopefully, there'll be no probs with Creative Soundblaster cards :) ;)

I don't have any idea because here (Spain) it's quite difficult to see good mobos (they're a bit difficult to get or you have to wait untill the shop gets some for you...)
Mystique, are you Borja?
If so, good luck :)
If not, email me again :)
Chunky my man, don't badmouth via in my presence
VIA = KA KA
(when it comes to Creative Soundcard compatability)
Damn j00 st00pid KT7A-R :(
Now, the reviews on the MSI 645 have been nothing less than awesome...
... just gotta work out where I can get this PC333 Memory... :)

Hope you have received my e-card with the answer =)
I currently have a Pentium 2 MMX 333 Mhz with 128 MB SDRAM and would like the chance to upgrade my computer. I think that having a good fan would help me towards having a better computer with my small budget. I am looking forward to assembling a Pentium 4 1.6A Northwood chip which I can overclock with a good fan. I am also planning to give my old computer to my local community where there are people in need of having their first computer. If I do win, please contact me back for additional information and thank you for your time in hosting this contest.
wow you actually sent a real e-card... i really only meant an email ;)
i cant read the answer tho, its all in weird ascii - 萲w的卡片,回寄給你的親友。 - stuff like that...
