In the old series/film Roots
it potrays how we as some white people treated black people in the 1700,s and 1800,s I think it is remarkable now how the black people have came together and strengthened as equals.

Anyway if we had no black people their culture of music would not have been found in some nations as they formed beats,blues,jazz,funk,hip-hop, rap e.t.c

Back to the point who has seen Roots and what did they think of it?

i get the feeling this might sound a little racist, but anyway...

"oooh, what a shame! < /sarcasm >"

i mean the music, k? just wanted to make sure u understand..

I've not seen roots, but I am a fan of the "punk kids in the ghetto grow up and realise how they've wasted their lives and seen their friends die for no reason" genre of films. Spike Lee esque stuff.
Boys in the Hood, Menace II Society, etc.
