GCSE grades

Its below what i expected to get :cry:

i had hand injury beofre exam and i wnet to hospital for a major check-up. Made me miss Biology and Electronic exams and also made me isolated for 1 week and then the baord refused to let me retake those exams even i was isolated, and the isolation also battered me around with the other subjects.

Here it goes
Eng-C
Geogaphy-B
Religous Studies-B (surprisingly good)
Maths-A (should have Aced it :()
Biology-C (fair enough, B would be nice thou)
Chemistry-B
Physics-B (shoud have been an A)
Electronics-D (WTF!!!! should be a B if not an A)
ICT-B (wtf! should have aced that too)

I was wondering if there were any GCSE students on the boards! Had this on the news all morning.


Thems aint bad grades at all mate. Going on to A levels I assume?

The electronics situation seems a little harsh... they didn't let you sit the exam at all?

Congrats mate, at least they're over ey? Another set to look forward to now. Then more.. then more.. gah education.


PS. Little sis sent me her results this morning, all As apart from a B in english so she says. So congrats to her too :yay:

bad luk m8, just try to make up for it in the A levels

plow, gecko's doin his GCSE's, and im doing my IT one, well the skool just started getting giving me books and stuff, i got a book for n00bs, wow! a megabyte is equal to 1024 kilobytes!i never knew that! :blarg: got some useful stuff tho...

well if it makes you feel any better i failed my english higher but now often get A's or Bs for all my essays at uni. Did i mention i got 92% for an essay, 3rd best in a class out of > 400? ahem, don't worry mate i know it's a downer and it sucks that you did worse than you hoped but that're not bad. Your science and maths are all fairly solid and tbh science is all that matters ;). The only really dissapointing one seems to be electronics, was that because it was awarded soley on practical work? same with biology? Anyway, good luck with your A-levels.

Oh and plow, say congrats to your sister. Weeeeell obviously don't, cos that'd be just wierd. :suspect:
