Timmah, resident haxor, made me get this refresh rate unlocking utility. It stops CS defaulting to 60Hz, and makes it look smooth as anything (gfx card permitting :D)

It worked for me, I got cs upto 100fps constant :)

doesn't CS, well half life, have a default of 72fps which you can up to 100fps with a simple console command?

its limited by screen refresh though.. or something.

anyway changing the fps_max or max_fps thing in CS didn't do it, and this program did.

no timmeh, what it does is turns of v-sync in display properties, that stops the 60fps limit in all games cuz i used to get 60-72fps on quake 3 with v-sync

anyway, i limit mine to 60fps because that is how fast my monitor can refresh (geh TFT) but it means the video doesn't split so its better to keep it on 60fps IMO.
