Hi guys. I'm currently writing an assignment for my computer networking class at college about the way communication has changed due to computer networks over the last 20 years. I'm writing a bit about forums in it, and I've mentioned this forum. I wondered if anyone has any interesting statistics about forums, or any messages for anyone who reads my essay.

Also, does anyone know how many people worldwide use MSN messenger because I'm writing a bit about that too, and I can't find stats for it anywhere.

In theory forums are a great place for people of common interest to get together, share ideas, and just generally help each other out. Unfortunately above principle seems to override that :(
